Application

Shake well before use. Moisten the surface with lukewarm water. Dilute shampoo up to 32 to 1. Massage thoroughly with the diluted shampoo and rinse. Repeat the treatment and then dry well. Indicative dosage for an adult horse: 4 - 6 pumps.

Dilution

The brilliant White shampoo is highly concentrated and can be diluted up to a 32 to 1 ratio. The 4000ml container is equivalent to 128 Litres when diluted. 

Tip: Each pump corresponds to 25ml of shampoo.

Key Ingredients

Organic Aloe Vera
Aloe vera contains proteolytic enzymes that repair dead skin cells on the skin. It also acts as a great conditioner and leaves the coat smooth and shiny. It promotes hair growth, prevents itching on the skin, reduces dandruff and conditions the hair. Aloe Vera is rich in minerals, vitamins, and enzymes. It is anti-bacterial, anti-fungal, anti-inflammatory, counteracts redness, helps heal wounds and calms irritated skin.

Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil
Naturally, olive oil has many anti-ageing antioxidants and hydrating squalene, making it superb for hair and skin. Olive oil has a moisturizing effect that nourishes the skin and provides a long-lasting shield of moisture to keep the skin smooth and supple. It also helps prevent dandruff and hair loss. Also, olive oil helps strengthen individual hair strands to avoid hair splits.

Organic Evening Primrose Oil
Evening Primrose oil has an amazing scent and it is a powerful ingredient for common skin woes like acne, wrinkles, and eczema. It is packed with Omega-6 fatty acids, crucial for healthy skin and nails. Evening primrose oil is an abundant source of fatty acids such as gamma-linolenic acid and antioxidants. Gamma-linolenic acid helps boost skin and hair regeneration, promoting hair regrowth. Nourishes the skin to ensure healthy hair growth.

Titanium Dioxide
Titanium dioxide is a naturally occurring oxide of titanium. It protects the skin from UVA radiation and is considered no risk of skin sensitivity. Because it is gentle, titanium dioxide is a great sunscreen active for sensitive, redness-prone skin. It also gives the coat an intense shine.

Vitamin E
Vitamin E is a powerful antioxidant that may be effective at reducing UV damage to the skin. Vitamin E may help nourish and protect the skin from damage caused by free radicals. Also, vitamin E can help replenish the shine that the hair loses as a result of damage.

Panthenol (Vitamin B5)
Panthenol is used as an emollient and moisturizer because of its ability to bind to the hair providing hydration. Also, panthenol strengthens the hair shaft, strengthens the skin, and counteracts eczema, itching, peeling skin, fragile coat, and hair loss. D Panthenol gives natural colour and lustre, adds volume, enhances the skin and coat quality, makes brushing easier, repairs damaged/worn coats and improves hair elasticity.

Glycerin
Glycerin is plant-derived. It is an emollient and humectant; it softens and moisturizes the skin by forming an oily layer on top that draws or traps water in/on the skin. It is used to treat many oily skin conditions, like acne and skin infections. It maximizes the healthiest hair possible.

Tips for bath

It is very important to massage your pet with shampoo for at least 5 minutes and ideally 10+ minutes before rinsing it. Massage helps deep cleanse, helps the hair grow and stimulates blood flow. It also reduces the stress that water can cause on some pets.

Drying is the second most important part of a bath. If the pet does not dry out well, the skin can be exposed to moist bacteria that could cause infections and bad odours.

No, there is no ingredient that can potentially be harmful to your horse.

Can I use the shampoo even if my horse has sensitive skin?

Yes, it is important to dry the pet well with a warm towel or ideally with a hairdryer. 

Can I use the shampoo as much as I want?
Because it is concentrated, we recommend that you use the recommended amount. Excessive quantities simply prolong the duration of cleaning with no added benefits.

Does it dry the skin?
Some shampoos dry or irritate the horse's skin. The brilliant White shampoo has a moisturizing effect with Organic Oils, Organic Aloe and Panthenol to keep the skin and hair well hydrated.

How effective is an Always Your Friend shampoo?
It is very effective and you can actually see improvement from the very first use. The shampoo gives shine and a silky texture to the hair. It removes dirt and cleanses naturally without irritating the skin.

Does it remove the bad odour?
